In order to enter, we’re asking for games in very early stages of development with at least a playable level so we can get our hands on it. But we also want to know more about you, so we’re asking applicants to put together a short intro video. It can be very simple - anything that shows your personality, your team, life at home, etc. You can just talk to the camera, or submit something edited.
Many successful games get discovered because of the fascinating people behind the games, like when Sean Murray did the talk show circuit leading up to the launch of No Man’s Sky. People stuck with the game despite its early struggles thanks to loyalty to Murray’s vision and charm.
We’re searching for that sweet spot of storytelling and game development that we believe will increase the chances of launching a hit. How can you set yourself apart? We want to hear your story.
