A new version of Infinite Mana is available with a host of new features and fixes! Read on below.
Demo v1.0.9 (May 4th, 2018)
Systems:
The skill learning system has been revamped to be more aesthetically pleasing and to make way for the way future Guises will learn skills. You can access this new system from the main menu. If you’re loading a previous save it may look a little wonky because there were no pre-requisites before.
Added the ability to look at a map of the area you’re in as well as locations and important people as long as you’ve been there (only for large locales and towns for now). Unfortunately, due to the way the game is programmed, previous saves will not be able to use the map. As this is a work-in-progress, this sort of things should be kept in mind, however I’ll do my best to avoid this problem in the future. Also, keep in mind the map graphics are not done and may look a little messy until next patch.
Fixes/Small Additions:
Added a scene for Troix at the Lyset campsite and a scene for Zwei in the Arkitech Factory.
Added a hovering location name before you enter a location on the Overworld as well as made the party interact system a little cleaner looking.
Added the ability to turn on and off the text sound effect in the system menu. If you’re loading a previous save this will be off by default. You can re-enable it at will.
You can now pick up and throw pots like your favorite elf adventurer.
Glitch World has been tweaked a little to be more glitchy.
A couple random events were added in both Densetsu Forest and Lyset Barrens.
Many skills have been reworked to be more beneficial.
Fixed a text squishing issue. Now text will look more natural in places like the item window and journal.
Changed a few graphics like the campfire and some other random assets.
Fixed overall lag. Bigger maps like Densetsu Forest should be a lot more smooth now.
Fixed a few passability bugs.
Known Bugs:
If you were in a shapeshift form prior to this patch and continue your save, you may be stuck in that form. Just go to a save spot in Densetsu Village or Town of Lyset to fix it.
If you want to load a previous save, drag the save file from the old version folder into the new version folder, but keep in mind there may be issues with old save files while the game is in development.
