The new version of Infinite Mana is available which adds a new fishing system and repeatable gathering quests. It also fixes a number of issues as well as replacing some placeholder graphics and music. You can move your old save files to the new folder to continue your game, but be wary that some features may not work with old saves. Enjoy!
Systems:
The fishing system has been revised to be more interactive. You can now get rods and bait to fish as well as the ability to fish up more rare fish with different rods and bait. Please note that this new feature is not compatible with previous saves.
Repeatable gathering quests have been introduced. You will find these in towns and field areas marked with a purple question mark icon. You can turn in unwanted materials to gain durons, JP, and sometimes items to these NPCs. In this version you’ll find three of these quests: One in Densetsu Village, one just outside the entrance to Densetsu Village in Densetsu Forest, and the last in Town of Lyset.
Combat:
If you lose a battle now it ends in a game over, whereas previously it would recover the party. This resulted in some players feeling that there was no challenge. Now, if you do lose, you can continue from where you last received an item which is usually not too far off from the enemy you just fought.
You can also now escape from battles!
Fixes/Small Additions:
Much of the soundtrack has been revised with original tracks as many songs were just placeholders.
Some graphics were also revised from placeholders.
Added a graphic for Controls in the Noobinomicon.
Added a Wonderlust Games logo to the title screen.
Fixed an issue where you would dismount the Mooka after exiting the skill learning screen.
Fixed an issue where some Wanderer skills were not showing they were learned on the skill learning screen.
Fixed some passability bugs.
