Welcome to the main page of Learn & Seek, an asymmetrical Baldi Fangame that focuses on Speed & Chaos and a lots of funs!
This devlog serves to tell you all how the progress is going, and why this project exists in the first place!
How is it going?
It should be very obvious to those who are familiar with the game Baldi Frenzy that this game is basically a Godot Remake of that. But why? Me and my friends used to play Baldi Frenzy practically daily, having alot of laughs and joy out of it until one day, disaster struck and the game was no longer able to get updates. So, I decided it was time to learn Godot's Multiplayer system and start remaking it by myself, taking inspiration from what worked from Frenzy and adding my own spice to it aswell.

Progress has been steadily going well and we have TONS of ideas that are SURELY to surprise you!
Hm, I'm bored. why not go through some run down of things I'm planning to add?
SKINS
Here in the ASYM community, we believe that all good ASYMs needs a good skin! That's why we have this system!

Not much is planned here, but this being created in Godot, the limitation on how a character can look is basically none! Many if not all of the skins will be a reference to something, so get ready to see some familiar faces, and if you have suggestions, feel free to ask for one! I might just add it if all sounds all good.
SEEKER QUEUE (a proper one)
Not entirely sure why this is a feature that hasn't been in the original, but yes! Whoever gets to be a seeker on the next round is decided by a completely NON random, FULLY determined QUEUE system!

POLISH & GAMEPLAY FLOW..?
Given that I've been grown up playing games like TF2, GMOD, Half Life and a couple of dozen boomer shooters, it only makes sense to take some inspirations from said games. In Learn & Seek, you'll be seeing many different play styles involved through out the game, outside of your average Baldi & Asym gameplay!

Besides all of that, development's been going great and super fun! I really hope the final product is something everyone can easily enjoy, and be something worth playing for a while. It'll take some time for it to be finished, so in the mean time check out the OST created by the one and only compser (yet), @surfing_oofy
!
Thanks for reading! We'll be sure to update everyone on the game frequently! For more frequent updates, check my socials!
