Intro to this #WLIB week:
- An introduction to the dream system, a special mechanic that we use to show what is happening to Will's mental state
- A chat with the developer to find out exactly why he wanted to use pixel art
- A look at the first dream

Here's a screenshot from the beginning of the game that you'll be able to see only after the whole game is out. For now if you play the demo you'll start on the Suicide Bridge right away. #ScreenshotSaturday #WLIB #SuicidePrevention
The more people that Will helps, the more his psyche will gradually suffer. This will gradually manifest itself as vivid dreams. Here is the first one, what do you think is going on here?
Wait! Life is Beautiful! is released! A message from the developer is attached to the post. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the payment via GameJolt, so the release here will happen later, but we are already out on Steam with a 10% discount!
Valentine’s Day is coming soon! @OperaGX
is celebrating by dropping the Valentine’s-inspired game Maximum Load. Step into the wardrobe and guide PC Man through a satisfying install. 🥵 Play #MaximumLoad here: https://bit.ly/MaximumLoad
Do you remember the dream that we shared last Saturday? This dream is a direct reflection of Will's struggles to save the people on the bridge. In the dream, he has to catch people as they fall from the bridge, just like he tries to do during the day.
Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!
Though we focus more on dialogue and text to tell the story of our game, the scenes also play a big role. What sort of interactions do you think Will will have when he comes here?
oldie but goodie: helo
Core to our game is gradually experiencing how Will (who set out to help others) gradually becomes the one that needs help as his mental state slowly slips. One of the ways that we show this is through the dreams that he has. #SuicideAwareness #PixelArt
