This AU is not intended to include a genocide route. While you're free to attempt one, it's worth noting that Chara’s role has been taken over by Undyne the Undying. The Cult’s weapons far surpass those of both humanity and ASMU-B, and the allocation of character roles and enemies overwhelmingly favors the monsters. As a result, any such path would ultimately lead to a monster victory — and a bizarre world where Sans and Gaster are worshiped as true gods, while humans are reduced to second-class citizens.
Core Theme:
The core theme of this AU revolves around the survivors of the True Lab — a group driven mad by some alphys' mistake , streaming all the sans's fight and the collapse of monster society. Led by a crazy NPC known as King Donut Man, Asgore and Alphys mysteriously vanished. With no one left to hold them back, they formed the Last Breath Cult, weaponizing remnants of broken science and corrupted magic. Think of it as Undertale meets Far Cry 5 —
What is ASMU-B?:(Alliance of Surviving Monsters – Underground & Bunkers)
So essentially, no — this isn't the same as True Genocide AU. In that game, you go around killing everyone left, even in off-screen regions, and become overwhelmingly powerful — you get the idea. But this AU is different. It's an Aftergore-based AU that explores what would have happened if... well, you know — if everything fell apart. Sure, you can try a genocide route here, but it wouldn’t really work. Not only are the enemies far more dangerous now, but you eventually will face an unstoppable obstacle. Yes, there are special locations, even on the surface — but no, this AU no Twarior99, it’s fundamentally different. Especially since Dyne, the OC, has goals completely different from Chara’s.
