It is happening very very soon. Like, this week.


Well, I said I'd be here early next month...last month...which makes this month...next month...(I think that's how time works)

I have been BUSY ironing out all the lumps that is this demo, and I have come to some VERY good finalizations. Everything's looking okay! Just a few more tweaks and everything is ready for the last update for the demo!

To be clear, this is the LAST TIME I'm updating the demo before we fully switch into Early Access builds. So, this means no more game-breaking glitches, no more crashes, just a good, solid demo.

I kept finding more things to fix, and some stuff left unfinished I've worked to give it at least an "almost done" feel without going overboard and adding a billion new things as I usually do.

(also if this all feels like a different sort of DevLog, I AM writing this at 6 in the morning. I'm exhausted.)

There are some things I simply won't be able to do in time, like the music pieces I want to do or reworking the Islands and the "???" world, but hey, removing stuff sometimes has to happen to meet time crunches and actually get something out to you guys.

Don't worry, though, there's plenty to do in the meantime. The main story path for the demo is roughly 1 1/2 hours, the extra location main stories add up to 2 1/2 hours, and all the side content itself puts the demo at roughly 3 3/4 hours. So honestly, not bad for a demo.

I'll be putting out information on the update sometime in the next 24 hours. Hopefully with it will be the demo.

Then, I will be taking a tiny little break from developing the game AND a break from streaming to just let myself relax for once, as I haven't really had ME time in about a year or so. Give me a couple weeks, and I'll be back to everything. But for now, I will be finishing this demo and planning the next release version of this game.
