FNAF:

A lot of years have been called the ‘year of FNAF’ which I’ve always found questionable but this year I would actually call ‘the year of FNAF’ with the tenth anniversary the amount of games that have got teased, had demos even fully released and the progression they’ve made in the book series switching to a more interactive style in order to tell more story’s. To begin I’m gonna talk about into the pit which deserves its own post which it has got many on this account but in this I’m going to attempt to summarise all of it. It started of with something that I’ve never really seen to this scale in FNAF before the trailer got leaked and I also very conveniently happened to be of school sick that day so I got to wake up and immediately start speculating on this which was honestly an amazing experience, not long after the trailer was leaked we got another leak from an inside source that stated into the pit would be a tenth anniversary game and pretty soon after that we got a leak of what studio would be making into the pit and it wasn’t steel wool or Scott as many had theories but a studio that hadn’t laid hands on the FNAF brand before this game mega cat studio. Skipping forward a few months Scott tweeted the order of events for the tenth anniversary stating that into the pit would be the showstopper closing off the tenth anniversary on August 8th which didn’t happen. It ended out coming out on the 7th rather than the 8th because mega cat accidentally released it early in Japan and decided to just release it world wide (it also received a console port September 27th). Five Laps at Freddy This was another 10th anniversary game actually more like demo because that’s all it is currently. We first learnt flaf through a hand full of teasers from clickteam (the game’s developers) not really giving to much away it was just a photo of lolbit and another of a Bonnie plush with their eyes ripped out. It came out on August 7th for the seventh day of the anniversary. Movie New’s, we unfortunately didn’t get a new movie this year but we did get news about it starting off with us learning it’s release date next December and moving into the tenth anniversary we got some sneak peaks of the toy animatronics being produced which was most likely supposed to be all for the anniversary movie leaks but since into the pit released a day early they had to fill up the spot of it on the road map and what they replaced it with was a page of the second movie script which seems boring until you realise that Scott released four possible pages of the script with three of them being fake! Just look it up it’s a really good way to market the movie and who knows maybe Freddy fazbear will be partnering with the military, and our final price of movie news came a couple months ago in the form of a poster for the movie. Secrets of the Mimic. All we have for this is a special look at the new mimic clown design at pax and the trailer for it for the tenth anniversary on the 6th of August, although we did get a new look at it through the free dlc/update where we got new looks at the characters the location (we think) and confirmed that MXES is returning and my feeling is mixed on that front I’ll expand upon this when the game releases sometime next year!

Music:

The first new album that I listened to in 2024 was the death of slim shady! Holy shit I loved this album I even have it on vinyl, honestly if your one of my irl friends who doesn’t listen to Eminem and you heard my reaction to this I feel sorry for you cause I was gassing this album up and it did not disappoint! It had an explosive roll out with Houdini releasing May 31st so a bit before the actual album release and it broke the charts scaling the charts and making it to number one many times and I see why it’s a bit over played at this point but is still really solid and back before it was really overplayed it was really good! Em later released Tobey before the album which was an odd choice in my opinion I know Eminem really liked Tobey but I think there’s definitely better songs from the album to roll out early like maybe fuel I think that would get a lot of hype ‘cause of the p diddy line but I think renaissance would have been a good choice cause it’s the first song on the album. So this album has a storyline (spoilers incoming) where shady comes back on Marshall with the objective to get them both cancelled which works in the album so shady hits shot in between the eyes, so knowing this when the album came out no one really leaned into it but before the album released it kinda worked when Eminem made a joke about race. I’m biased because Eminem is my favourite artist ever but regardless this album is fire tying up loose ends from albums that released ages before I was born! (Eminem talked about shooting slim between the eyes in the Marshall Mathers LP in 2000 on the song who knew) for me this album is a 10/10 my top 3 songs from it is definitely fuel, guilty conscience 2 and bad one! CHROMAKOPIA, this was my first exposure to Tyler, the creator apart from that one song he made for the grinch but honestly I’m really glad this is the first Tyler album cause this is actually insane I think this was peak through and through and luckily the rest of the internet seems to hold the same opinion with a lot of people saying that the rollout was the best album rollout ever! And I think it was pretty close, I say this as a non Tyler, the creator fan but my tick tock feed was flooded with edits and just general uses of the song when the st chroma snippet got released! Also Tyler did something a bit odd with the release of chromakopia releasing our first announcement for the album (the saint chroma snippet) just 2 week before the album release rather than releasing songs one at a time months before the album, another thing that happened before chromokopia’s release was a truck, it carried the cargo crate from the st chroma music video and this was a very good way to build hype as people followed this truck around the us. Moving on to the actual album it was really good!!! Like I now after listening chromakopia have tow brains ones green and plays the beginning of st Chroma on loop! Their is a story to this album although it’s not as good in my opinion the death of slim shady in my opinion which had years of build up for it it’s still solid it’s basically from my understanding of the album about Tyler getting a girl pregnant and being conflicted weather or not to keep it. My top 3 songs are st chroma (of course), Rah tah tah and sticky! GNX. This is Kendrick’s most recent album which on the 22nd of November aka a random ass Friday! Yeah at this point I’d normally talk quite a bit about the album rollout but there isn’t much to talk about but there is a bit. On not like us’s music video Kendrick added a snippet of squabble up which was really hype, and their was also a small trailer video for it. This album like the others have a story with this being a bit more out there with it’s story. It’s from my understanding about Kendrick being reincarnated and talking to god throughout the album it’s really interesting I would definitely give GNX a recommendation I think I can’t really encapsulate this as I didn’t have an amazing understanding of it I just enjoyed the songs! 3 specifically wacced out murals, TV off and peekaboo! BRAT. This rollout was a lot well done then the previous one! In fact it was a rather unique rollout starting with the song von Dutch which was a pretty good song to tie together brat and her previous album crash (definitely deserves a listen if you enjoyed brat) which was definitely a good choice of song from charli as it does definitely give crash vibes! About nine months later she released club classics and B2b on the same day which I think was a great choice as B2b shows of the average song on brat and club classics shows of the in my opinion peak of brat! Then after a month she released 360 good song I don’t have much to say about that except it’s my friends favourite song on brat, and then a couple months later brat drops and breaks the internet! Theirs no real story to this album just bangers and a few personal stories from Charli so I’m just gonna talk about some of my notes about this album the first being the features there aren’t any… I think this was an amazing decision as I think collabs can really bog down an album especially when it’s with a lot of personal stuff on it like brat does! You may have thought you heard brat songs with features on them but that’s because of its ‘expanded edition’ brat and it’s completely different but still brat which added features! My second note is about what Charli did after the album, a lot of artists would just move on but charli didn’t she bought a billboard named by fans the brat wall! This would constantly update changing to things like saying ‘I’m your favourite reference’ (a line from 360) ‘brat and it’s completely different but still brat’ which was like the chromokopia truck from Tyler’s album! My 3 favourite songs are club classics, apple and 360.The party never ends, this was juice wrld’s last album he recorded before his tragic death and I didn’t like this album much but before that let’s talk about the album rollout. It technically started off last year with the release of lace it a song by Eminem and benny blanco this song was released to pay tribute to juice on juice wrld day I say the album rollout started here because this song was later featured on the party never ends. This album was later hyped up by juice wrld’s appearance in Fortnite. That was about where the rollout stops so since I haven’t spoke about this on any of the other albums I wanna talk about the album co because this has been a big point of contention for this new album since juice’s previous album covers have been really good and have fit the themes of juice wrld which it showing the good and the bad of drugs but this one is just the psychedelic side of them what most people get addicted for and all the odd creatures in the album covers are happy enjoying the party (it also just generally doesn’t look good)! I think the album isn’t my type of music really which is part of the reason I’m being so critical of this album but I also don’t like how his records treated his death, there are some great videos on this I would say look it up if you want more on this. With all that said there are some great songs on this album my top 3 being empty out your pockets, lace it and party by myself.

KENDRICK LAMMAR VS DRAKE, this beef kicked off with the song first person shooter featuring J. Cole on drake’s album for all the dogs where drake sneak dissed Kendrick and one bar in particular will be remembered for the way Kendrick responded, who the big three is it Kendrick aubury or me? Kendrick then responded on future and metros album we don’t trust you on the song like that where he spun the drake bar into a diss about him in what may be one of the most iconic lines in rap history! ‘Fuck the big three it’s just big me!’ This song did numbers with everyone going crazy over it on YouTube and tick-tock. Drake then responded on the song pushups basically calling Kendrick short and saying he has small feet 😐, in this song he also dissed metro telling him to make some beats which he did! He made a beat saying whoever made the best drake diss on it would win lots of money which is where we got the viral bbl drizzy sound. This song was then followed up by drake with Taylor made free style (yikes) this was horrid as it included so voices of Kendrick’s inspirations snoop dogg and two pac! WHO IS LITERALLY DEAD!!! This sh*t was then responded to by Kendrick with peak ‘euphoria’ which I just can’t put into words you have to listen to it! Where Kendrick drops legendary lines such as ‘I hate the way that you walk the that you talk the way that you dress’ in this one he also propelled the bbl drizzy allegations and he also insulted his parenting but most importantly he called him a p*dophile which ended up massive more on that later. This masterpiece was followed up by Kendrick dropped 6:16 in LA and there’s not much to talk about here as Kendrick didn’t even put this on his Spotify only his instagram page. This was followed up by family matters by drake basically saying Kendrick cheats and beats his wife, these would have been big but no one believed him 💀 and it was very quickly disproven and in regards to the p*dophile allegations drake said… nothing but he does respond to the bbl drizzy stuff *sigh*. Next meet the ghrams relief and this is where everyone agreed drake was finished! This piece by Kendrick was him speaking directly to drake’s family telling them everything about how he’s a pedo and they should be ashamed of him! And then the final song of this beef Not Like Us this went mega viral reaching everyone god I would say go listen to it but at this point you have! This was followed up with it’s music video with a whole city singing along and him dancing with family showing of their great relationship! This beef ended with Kendrick getting the Super Bowl half time show doing better than ever and releasing an album and with drake going on several streams bitching about the situation and suing Apple Music for ‘over inflating the popularity of not like us’ *sigh*

Gaming:

I don’t play many video outside of FNAF and Fortnite but I can’t deny some good games released this year starting off with dragon ball sparking zero! Me and my friends have had so much fun on this game with me getting cooked them getting cooked it’s just so much fun and really chaotic which tends to actually even out matches cause what’s the solution to losing to your good friend ultra instinct goku of course 💀 and before anyone asks I do not use ui goku I’m a kid buu main. The next big game I played this year is marvel rivals and I honestly don’t like rivals people are calling it the over watch killer but nah over watch killed itself (editors note; this was my old opinion I was going to ramble about how I can’t play my favourite characters like spider man or venom and about how I have a skill issue but then I found my new favourite character JEFF he is the best boy and I love him! He nullifies my skill issue by letting me just stay back and help my team in the way of healing and obliterate teams ones I have fully charged my ultimate!) Jujutsu kaisen cursed clash I see this as nothing more than a cash grab for Bandai but then was a time where I was very hyped for this game but I have since learned not to be hyped anime games! The first thing they executed poorly was the combat, it all felt very floaty and unfulfilling as you can truly combo someone because if u we’re to behind with a string of punches the game would finish it for you with it auto using an under powered move wasting cursed energy and your time. They also released two major dlc packs for this game one being the hidden inventory which I have no problems with except for the ones previously mentioned and the other is the Shibuya incident part 1! They split this pack into two parts and they have only released the first at this time and it’s full of characters that no one wants (except choso) they added mei mei and naobito absolute bums who don’t deserve me talking about them!

Anime: fans of the account know that I was looking forward to three anime in particular: kaiju number 8 Dandadan and solo levelling I’m not going to talk about kaiju number 8 because I found it quite boting but I will talk a phenomenon that happened with me and these anime! I went into kaiju number 8 knowing a lot about it and being hyped yet it was my least favourite! I went into solo levelling knowing a little less it was my second favourite and I went into Dadadan know close to nothing and it was by far my favourite anime this year! I give solo levelling a 8.5 and dadadan a 10! There are already lots of posts on this account about how I love these shows so no explanation needed!

This year tasted exactly like pink lemonade lucorzade all in all this year was honestly a top 3 year of my existence just behind 2020 and 2023! Thank you for being with me this year even if it was the most minute support it helped thank you and here’s to another successful year!
