The Honey Valley PROJECT

It is time to look into the past.

Anyway, I don't see the point in keeping it without showing it to anyone. At the end of the year, I want to share something interesting. This project has never come easily to me. I have been working on it for more than several years, due to a constant desire to improve and change something. Because of this, I was actually constantly starting over. During this time, enough material has been collected, so there is something to share.

This is what the very first prototype looked like when I first started. I was 14 years old then.

The first image of Agnes. At that time, her name was Lorraine.

I was constantly redrawing sprites, constantly learning something new, and instead of fixing, I started over.

The first redesign. When the script was revised, in one of the versions, Agnes (Lorraine) could become a victim of domestic violence (currently not relevant). Unfortunately, only a few images have survived, in one of which she is defending herself from beatings.

Also managed to find some environment sprites, as well as silhouettes of the main characters.

After a long time, the second prototype began to evoke in me the same immediacy as the first. Well, all at the beginning.

The third prototype is designed much better than the first two. Therefore, strictly speaking, I shared photos of locations.

Lorraine received another redesign:

Around this time, familiar portraits could be observed.

Here it is. I showed that I can. It was nice to share something like this. It reminds me how far I've come and why I shouldn't stop. All the best.

Does this make sense? I'm not sure. However, I like such little things. Why not make yourself a cup of tea as you travel through the Honey Acres?
