It's been 3 months since the last dev-log, so I guess we'll make another one.

Devlog #3


Howdy chat, it's been a while since we've given a long devlog on what's been happening with the project. But first, time to get the huge elephant out of the room.


WE TOOK A 2 MONTH BREAK FROM DEVELOPMENT... IK IK, WE'RE SO UNTRUSTWORTHY, WE SHALL BE BURNED AT THE STAKE!!!

No but fr, we are so sorry that we took such a long break from development. But it also didn't help that we began development again right after releasing Hollow shift at Freddy's an didn't put much thought into the concept of burnout. It wasn't that big of a deal because right after our break ended Mid June we began work on the project again, this time our work was extremely fast.


GAME PWAY?

The first beta build featuring gameplay was sent out to our beta testers last week and we were met with a lot of reviews. Ignoring the fact that @Paperpossum made the most stupid mistake of accidentally making the first build unplayable. But past that, the build worked flawlessly. Right now we only have Night's 1-3 coded in for the main gameplay as Paperclips is slacking on coding on Peach (Mainly cuz he's a scaredy cat), but we've been assured that Peach will begin programming today (as of writing this). Paperclips was so thoughtful to even include some gameplay screenshots.

MUSIC??

The music side of game development has been at a complete halt since the day we took our break April 11th. And we have a feeling the music will stay on break for a while longer seeing as how @Paperpossum & @SteekGames (We luv u) are very busy.


POST SHIFT MINIGAMES!!!

The Nightmare sections of the game, visually have been going by very fast with little issue. We did unfortunately have to re-render EVERY render in the bedroom to fix some lighting and texture trickery. But we did it because of the sheer vast amount of passion we have for this project, we want it to be the best it could be.

Again as stated before, the gameplay for this section will be fairly unique and will (as stated in our discord go to the server NOW) have it own custom night menu with its own alterable values. The post shift minigames will require you to do actual minigames while you're life is being threatened, and it will be MUCH MORE polished than the ones in HSAF.

We are a lot more happier with both working on Fnaw 2R and how Fnaw 2R has turned out/will turn out than HSaF. We are pouring our heart and soul into this project to make sure it's leagues better than both HSaF and FNaW 1R.

Also the games been delayed a few months for voice acting reasons. Our main voice actor is on break for a few months and we need a female voice act (Recommended ages 14-18) to the play the role of a female character in the project.
