Game
Roll, Die, Go Home

It's been a long time, how have you been?

Since the previous update we've been focusing primarily on three things:

Reworking our artstyle!

Creating and designing the hubworld!

Refining the gameplay loop!

Pixel art

We've switched up the art style, since we're a small team we decided to shift over to pixel art, which in turn allows us to create content at a much faster pace!
Not everything has been adapted yet so it's there might still be some art that sticks out.

The Landing

A home, a hub, a place to rest. The Landing is an island that you fall back to when you die in the dungeons. Here you can use ancient machines to unlock new powers and items, and meet others who are lost in the Risky Rim and might help you.

In the future we hope to expand upon this further by allowing the player to fully customize their island, being able to place structures freely and decorate at their leisure.

Shops, Coins and Progression

Previously the sense of progression was severely limited, being basically just a dungeon loop.
Adding The Landing, and, on top of that persistent collectibles in the form of money and unlocks is our first test to see if the game in it's entirety works and is fun.

To conclude and going forward!

With this, we have established the core features of the game and from here can focus a lot more on content in the form of items, new worlds, bosses, enemies, and so on!

There are still some bugs in this patch, but if you find any, please leave a comment or post it on our Discord!

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

I was bored, so... ManutKat.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

Showing off player 2 😎
