It's going to take a little more time

I had first planned the release of FNAC 3 to be somewhere around the end of July and the beginning of August, but as it is now I can tell that it probably will be a bit longer before release.

I can’t say exactly when, but it might take an extra month’s time, meaning probably around the end of August.

This is because of how busy my life has been this past half year, I’ve been looking for a special paid-internship where I could continue my study in programming, but it seems there’s nobody looking for students like me. Either that or they want them to be a lot more experienced, which is not really possible since nobody is going to hire them so they can get experience. I also have things like family vacations coming up and such.

That’s basically it, for now.

But I can tell you that I’m very happy with how the game has turned out so far.
I managed to program a proper dialogue system for the minigames, with “voices” and everything, interactions are even direction based! For example, that means someone could say different things depending on which direction you speak to them from.
I also made a special algorithm for the screen-scrolling, so now there’s no need for 3 boxes to each side of the screen with a certain speed each. Now the scroll-speed is smooth and changes gradually, allowing for more precision.

I can’t wait till the game is finished so you all can play it. I am really excited.

Thanks for being patient!

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?
