Since the launch of the game, we’ve been closely monitoring the various issues that you in our community have been reporting to us. Needless to say, all of the bugs that have been reported to us have been noted and passed to our developers to fix up, and now, we’re ready to announce the first update to Raji: An Ancient Epic!

Before we begin, we just want to make clear that this update focuses entirely on bugfixes and so is designed to improve the general quality of life for all of our players.
Frame-rate/FPS Related Issues
There were two major locations in the game where the game was almost unplayable if the player was on a high-end system (and so had high frames per second), these were:
When Raji had to pull the rope down from the giant bow
When Raji encountered the Naga and needed to use stealth to avoid it.
This bug has now been fixed, so if you have manually put in a frame rate cap via the GameUserSettings.ini file, or via any third-party software, you may now remove it and play the game with the maximum performance that your hardware allows.
Raji Gets Stuck
One of the main pain-points that our community highlighted was that there are several locations where, if Raji tried to move on/around, would result in the character getting stuck, requiring a restart from your last save point. The stuck locations that we have fixed are:
During the sequence where Raji sees the giant bow and has to run a gauntlet while the terrain crumbled, it was possible for Raji to get stuck on the cliffs, with no option other than to fall.
A general issue (across all levels) caused Raji to sometimes get stuck in the floor, most commonly encountered after crossing the first bridge in the first level.
We do hope that the fixes for these issues will mean that Raji will no longer get stuck in all locations as you play the game.
Tutorial Mission for the Bow
Soon after unlocking the bow, a tutorial mission is triggered and the player needs to complete a set of combos. However, many players would swap to the Trishul and attempt to complete the tutorial with the Trishul, not knowing that the Bow is required. To fix this, when the tutorial starts, Raji will automatically swap weapons to the Bow.
Quality of Life/Game Experience Fixes and Changes
All of these points are important, however, do not follow a specific theme, so they’re listed here.
Sometimes Raji would not jump far enough to reach a wall run section,
In rare instances, jumping on a Lotus would cause Raji to die,
Steam Achievements would either take far too long to update or in rare cases, not update at all,
When loading the game (or reviving) from specific checkpoints, the start position was in an awkward place preventing Raji from being able to move.
The colour scheme of the red wall in the temple has been slightly altered, making it easier for the player to know where to go.
We’d like to thank everyone in our community for reporting the bugs to us, it really is with your help that we were able to identify and fix these issues. As always, after updating the game, please continue to report any new and/or old bugs to us as we are constantly working on improving the game.
