it seems the jpn rom can be edited in the same tool, but i will have the same tool with the usa rom open

it seems changing the background color in rainbow road seems to do this to the ending
idk if this is a scrapped feature or not looked in the bsnes debugger and it seems its still has the rainbow road tiles and palette loaded in
