It all started when I was scrolling through Google and I saw an amazing pixel art sword. I was so amazed by the detail in the sword so I wanted to draw a sword too! Then it happened...my first-pixel art, a red diamond sword. After I drew the sword I was so motivated to draw more pixel art however I didn't have a pixel art artist I could get inspired from. Then one day I was browsing right here in GameJolt and found a wonderful and very talented pixel art artist named @ElPichon ! The first-pixel art I saw from ElPichon was a beautiful pixel art he made for his game called Endfall if I'm not mistaken. I have never seen such beauty in pixel art. I can't even express it in words. I was obsessed with Kirby at the time so I bought the app ElPichon uses called Aseprite and drew over 20 Kirby characters in pixel art in 1 week. All of the Kirby drawings were sadly deleted accidentally a week later and I was so frustrated I never wanted to draw again but luckily Mom screamed at me and said "Matthew, I never seen you with such talent before so you will now grab that pen and don't stop drawing! You heard me!?" I immediately got motivated to draw again. I then drew over 50 Kirby characters in 3 weeks! I kept drawing on and on and never stopped. 3 months later one of my teachers said I should draw a garden in pixel art for her class and so I did and it looked beautiful! I was so happy so I got motivated more than ever! 5 months later I lost the motivation and didn't draw for 2 months. it was one of the toughest moments in my life until someone came like a miracle...@1El_Gato1 . She told me my art was beautiful and very cool then she showed me her art as well and it was beautiful! I suddenly fell in love with her drawings and also noticed how amazing my art was in the process. I then saw a drawing @KniteBlargh made of a spoon and I can't even explain how motivated I got after seeing that so thank you Knite! You will always be my inspiration! I came back to drawing pixel art and it was the biggest comeback ever! I drew V from murder drones! She looked amazing so I was very happy! I even came up with a new art style! a couple of months later I had depression and took a break...again. Long story short I fell in love with someone and calmed down and immediately and kept drawing again! It feels cringe saying this but..love helped me get through my depression and I'm very happy about that. After that, I finally started posting my drawings and GameJolt and here we are! I never stopped giving up no matter what. I never believed in miracles but it seems they do exist huh? The end! Have a wonderful day Gamejolt! Thank you for reading
