Ive been thinking about releasing a small demo for yall, but Ive ran into some major issues...


i am currently working on the underground part and honestly, i dont know if i will be able to optimize that part.

  1. the lighting is the first big issue and its been causing alot of problems, some of the lights dont render when they are supposed to render.

  2. the occlusion culling is completely trashed and doesnt work the way it should. sometimes when looking in a direction its supposed to render that what the camera is seeing, but sometimes the objects that are in view just dont render at all.

  3. i dont have enough experience with ui and saving for games, making it hard for me to make a long game, since saving wont be implemented untill i find a good solution to that.

  4. i am currently using unity 2021 since unity 6 is also very poorly optimized and crashed almost 70% of the time and i have better experience with unity 2021. i will upgrade my ram to 32gb to maybe fix some unity problems, and my pc using all of my ram when its in an idle state.

no this game wont be cancelled i will be working on it constantly, thanks for hanging in there!
