2022: Led Penn State to an 11-2 record. Won the Rose Bowl 35-21 over Utah. Finished #7 in the nation.
2023: Led Penn State to a 10-3 record. Lost the Peach Bowl 38-25 to Ole Miss. Finished #13 in the nation.
2024: Led Penn State to a 13-3 record. Made the Big Ten Conference Championship, losing 45-37 to Oregon. Made the College Football Playoffs. Won the first round 38-10 over Southern Methodist. Won the CFP quarterfinal Fiesta Bowl 31-14 over Boise State. Lost the CFP semifinal 27-24 over Notre Dame. Finished #5 in the nation.
2025: Penn State was the preseason #2 team. After winning their first three games, they dropped their next three, losing to #6 Oregon, unranked UCLA, and unranked Northwestern. He was fired today, earning a $56 million buyout. He had an overall record of 104-45, with a 4-21 record against top-10 opponents. He won 5 bowl games, a Big Ten Championship with two appearances, and a CFP appearance, winning two CFP games. A replacement hasn’t been chosen yet.
