#JOLTober prompt 8: myself

lazy day on the couch with my cats (not depicted: human co-habitation partner that can usually be found programming on the computer)


Decided to break with my usual method of illustrating and go with pixel art instead. This was two firsts for me:

  • first time doing a full scene

  • first time animating

I used to be really interested in 35mm photography. I have a small film camera collection with the oldest one being from the 1930s.

Based on some pixel art I made for the “fashion” prompt of JOLTober where I reimagined Princess Peach in different eras of European history.

I think my favourite is the 1520-1540 Princess Peach.
