Today, I changed the mashing-the-space-bar movement to holding down the space bar, which feels much nicer. I added a range upgrade to the shop, a button to repair damage one at a time,

and I made the whole thing easier to change in the editor.

I added a little flame to shop the direction you’re moving easier,

but this revealed a huge rotation to movement error.
Currently, the rocket doesn’t change directions consistently with the direction of the mouse, but it’s going to take at least until tomorrow to figure out how to fix it.

Next up

Here are some screenshots from early in the game.

August 20 (30 minutes later) I noticed that the game was set to a 16:9 resolution, but the UI didn’t fit correctly. I’m not really sure how to fix the web version… but I fixed the downloadable. BEFORE: AFTER: I also added a quit button.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?
