It’s that time again: an update post has arrived!
Apologies for the long break between posts, but we hope to make it up to you all by making this post our meatiest update yet. This time, however, we’re going to break these up into more organized sections, hopefully to use as a template for future updates. And we’re going to start this off with…
OVERALL PROGRESS + PERCENTAGES
Before we get into the percentages, let’s talk about the game as a whole. Fazbear Tycoon is BIG. VERY BIG. There’s a lot going on in this game, there’s a lot left to do, and technically the version of the game we’re working on has only existed for a little over a year. In that amount of time, I feel that what we’ve got done is indeed quite impressive when compared to the scale of what we need to get done.
So, without further ado: the percentages!
Gameplay: 35%
Story (in-game): -5% lmao
Story (in general): 75%
Visuals: 25%
Audio: 20%
These will be posted onto the game page proper for those who missed this post and will be updated alongside every future update post, so keep an eye out for that! Now, let’s move onto the next section…

This section is all about the nighttime and custom night mode, specifically about all of the characters in it and how far along they are! Today I’ll be detailing which characters are actually programmed into the game, and the list goes as follows:

TYCOON
This next section is all about the Tycoon, and today I’d like to reveal a feature that the featured image may or may not have given away: the lawsuit system!

The lawsuit system works similar to how it does in the OG FFPS, but with quite a few of our own tweaks and changes. As your Risk increases, the random chance of getting a lawsuit increases along with it. When viewing your end-of-day summaries, a lawsuit will appear on the right side of the table. Clicking on the lawsuit will show you a summary of why it was filed, what happened, and the result.
You will then be given the option to settle the lawsuit by paying a sum of money or fighting the lawsuit and potentially getting legal fees back. Being unable to handle a lawsuit will result in bankruptcy and a prompt Game Over and lead to you restarting the day, so be careful when being given one and do your best to avoid it if possible!
Speaking of Risk, let’s talk about the various stats that influence your restaurant. The aforementioned Risk stat is regarding how risky it is to open every day and is influenced by the potential dangers of the location and its attractions. Higher risks can draw negative events (we’ll talk about those in a later update) and lawsuits, so keeping Risk low is something to be keeping in mind while playing. Entertainment deals with how fun your pizzeria is for guests and is what attracts new guests to your establishment, and it goes hand in hand with Atmosphere, which is the overall novelty and uniqueness of the establishment and is what keeps guests coming back even after their first visit. The final stat is Productivity, which is dealing with how fast money is made and how well you can deal with random events.
There are more status effects, including stats that are exclusive to your animatronic characters, and we don’t have time today to talk about what influences your status effects, but the important thing to know is to keep Risk low, and to keep your Atmosphere, Entertainment, and Productivity high.
(And while you’re at it… take a look at the WIP stat screen as well!)

FESA
I’m sure you’ve all been asking yourselves the question: “What’s been happening with FESA?”
Well, to put it simply: we’ve been focusing more on the development of the main game than new content for FESA. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have things planned - on the contrary, we’ve mostly planned out the next updates for FESA, but we have no idea when we’ll be developing them or when they’ll be coming out. But when the time comes… you will all know. ;)
CONCLUSION
That’s everything for today’s update! Hopefully you all like this structure for future updates, as we plan to continue doing them like this. They’ll still be released at irregular times based on when we have interesting things to show, but hopefully this update is meaty enough. Thanks for reading, and we’ll see you all next time.
