July 3rd Progress Report

So, funny story: I kinda forgot this Game Jolt page existed. But that doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten about this project. Quite the opposite, in fact!

I’ve been working on Berry Street at a very decent pace for a guy doing this by himself. In the time since my last update on this page, I’ve created a Discord Server for the project where you can have an opportunity to become a tester for the project for free. Once I have a build that feels more like a proper ‘demo’, I’ll release it to Game Jolt for public testing.

That all said, when significant progress is made, I’ll be sure to let you know about it here. For instance, I’ve created custom sprites for the main characters, showcased in the images on the game’s home screen. Placeholders are still being used for other characters, but as for the main 3 characters, we can have a better idea of what they’ll look like in the final story.

tl;dr: I have a Discord where you can test the visual novel, I’ll keep things on Game Jolt more up-to-date, and custom sprites are a thing now.

Thanks!

What you all think

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
