ngl, jumping julian is one of those games where it has really great visuals, but the writing is, meh.
It’s okay, some parts just feel way out of place and doesn’t draw me in to the horror aspect, even the actual horror just feels. Meh. It’s not bad, nor good.
also unnecessary doxxing, like, REALLY unnecessary, with some edge on some parts(Ex; Mr writing’s first minigame).
Parts I do love, are that julian goes on a tangent about how games force some challenge, and actually, the entire first two codes really show how good it is, like, honestly I prefer the second code over everything, it’s the definition of the mid transition in horror. Julian being optimistic about everything, knowing he and others are trapped, just trying to make the best of it. Every character feels like I wanna know more about them and is actually interested.
Overall rating 7.5/10, could do better with actual jumping smh /halfjoking
