Dear Shipmates,
Today I've pushed my last commit for some rendering re-work that I've been doing as a "holiday" during the performance improvements work. This work will be available with the upcoming 1.18.0 update, and you can watch it in action in this video from TimCan:
I can now focus 100% on integrating the performance changes into the game. I expect this work to take a few weeks, after which we'll have a small round of beta testing and finally 1.18.0 will see the light!
