Hello. So, to begin with, there's no way we'll be able to end it by the deadline of the gamejam. Doesn't mean that we're abandoning it. We just try to make sure that we bring you guys something quality - and not something that runs like crap or looks bad.
Because of that, we've switched from High-definition render pipeline to a standard Unity renderer.
You may wanna ask what that means for the project...
1) We're rebuilding the basics. Of course we'll port the things that worked as intended, but a lot of the code will be reworked, organized and refactored. Yep, that takes time, but it's something that is worth doing. (Yep, so far that code has been a bit of a mess, because it's my first time ever trying to write something multiplayer....)
2) The graphics may look a little bit different than these currently shown on the page's screenshots.
I've provided a screen in this article of how they changed, if you don't look closely you probably won't even be able tell the difference heh... but the main difference is measured in frames per second.
That's it, hope you stay with us till the end and thanks for reading my nerding :D
If you could, tell your friends about the project so that they can tell others and we can gain a bit of an audience together ^^
