The new towers are also far more lightweight on the occupied space and memory needed and, for the techies, they are completely managed through AssetBundles (Unity3D) so to minimize the RAM requirements for the game.
What’s new in the new towers?
New high-res flags
New enhanced color scheme for better contrast in game
Terrain layer beneath to merge with the map ground nicely
Smaller, optimized size for the game zoom level (half the size of the previous ones almost)
and, last, but absolutely not least
Snow layer ready for the upcoming snow maps!!
Hope the teaser was teasing enough for now, we can’t wait to push out a refreshed build here as well (these days our full focus is on the 4X part of the game and main map, but as you can see, no combat map is left behind ;) )
