SOME SPOILERS:

Illumination and Nintendo are back with another mario movie and it's pretty good. The animation is amazing as for Illumination standards of course, there's a lot of action, nice humor, great music and the cameos and references were cool.

This is nowhere near a faithful adaptation. The character development here wasn't really good. The characters didn't have as much screen time as in the original, Mario and Bowser becoming friends felt wrong as they are both enemies.

But overall, this is a fun and solid adaptation that mario fans will like!
