Seems like after the war, they tried making things work again through a second honeymoon. They both seem like they love each other, but perhaps they can't really escape what's happened to them and aren't the same. Looking forward to how this first episode ends. Interesting so far.
Update: Good solid first episode and now I'm invested lol. Love time travel.
