After 5 years of work, Kitty Pride's development is complete. It's the first game in a decade of projects that I've brought to completion.
So, what happens now?
First of all, I'm going to have to perfect the game, because when I say it's finished, I just mean that I've got a playable version from start to finish on my PC, not that it's excellent. I'm going to inspect all the graphics, all the music and test the game ten thousand times to improve the atmosphere and the gameplay until there's nothing left to improve. I'll also rewrite a few sections of the storyline. And redo a few game screens. I'll also have to program all the side dungeons and side quests.
Then I'll have to translate the whole thing. Since I'm not good enough to do a perfect translation, I'll see about hiring a translator.
Only then, after all that, will there be a beta-test. Here, too, I'd have to retest the game a few million times to fix all the bugs.
When will the game be released for real? I don't know. As you can see, I've still got a lot to do. I'll keep you updated. In weeks? Probably in a few months.
