I’m close to the last month of my current college semester and I prefer to take academics a bit more seriously around this time. Because of this, I have to spend less time on personal projects so I can focus on university work. Plus, I also have a thesis to work on. What fun indeed.
I just mostly did spritework this week. A couple of tilesets and a few animations. I don’t want to post anything yet as I prefer to show them off at a better time. I also spent a bit of time debugging little stuff that has been mildly bugging me for weeks.
I believe I will not be focusing on level design or coding for the next month as they usually take the most time because I constantly have to test and tweak, test and tweak, test and tweak… . . Instead, I will be focusing on the aesthetic parts of the game like the visuals, sound, and music.
My semester ends with finals at the first week of December, I think. This is going to be a tough month for me but if I push through and finish my work and pass my subjects, I can work on the game full time with no worries during the semestral break.
On an unrelated note, have you seen my artwork I’ve been posting on the forums? I’m getting better I think.
