Hi, I just want to give you some news about the current state:
During the last weeks I started reworking most of the “old” map areas. These older areas now look much better than before. This also included to manually replace all doors in the world with the “new” ones - this was ugly work :P. At the moment Im deciding which powerups/items are just “optional” or which are “needed” to pass through the world - its hard to descide ^^.
This descision is very important, because the further map layout/design depends on it. I want to give the player the possibility to choose out of different paths to complete the game. The next weeks I want to clean up and fine tune the first playable part of the game up to the first boss.
To to this I`m going to release a full playable version (only at the Discord Channel) of this first part to you, so you can help me beta-/alphatest to find all nasty bugs/errors/deadend. When this part is cleaned up and polished, I will start to open the next area to Boss2…for testing …and so on…
