We are preparing to launch a unique experiment of minds relocation
In this experiment we can relocate the mind of one physical entity to another. It means that we can exchange minds of any two physical objects: a man and a cat, a cat and a cup or even between two cups. And a mind in a new body is going to behave as it used to in the old one.
Earlier we tried to do it with a classroom clock and one of our undergrads. The clock stopped working and undergrads hands showed 3:15. Interestingly, the second hand was missing. The technique was not polished at that moment and after reverse relocation the clock still get late for class beginning and the undergrad claps his hands at 12
So to be prepared for possible negative outcomes, this time we are planning to launch a computer simulation first. The simulation is going to be public and you’ll get a unique opportunity to participate via your web browser, mobile device or tablet
In this simulation we are planning to relocate a mind of 52 years old human individual (yes, we are running out of undergraduate volunteers) and young and brave hamster (true hero here)
So let me introduce our participants
The professor. He wants to stay anonymous and thinks that title “professor” sounds very respectful, for an ambiguous reason. He likes long walks on the beach and randomized optimization algorithms. Thinks that smartphones kill the art of conversation
Hamsternikus. After we asked it about anonymity the answer was silence and two circles run inside his cage that was treated as “Let people know the name of their hero”. So the hero’s name is Hamsternikus = hamster+Kopernikus. Likes seeds and running around
