Hello and welcome to the August 22nd, 2024 Edition of the Leftory Custom Night Devlog! As Version 1.0.0 gets closer and closer, we will take a look at some more features coming in the update.

1/3: Stewie Griffin

That's right... Stewie from Family Guy is joining LCN's roster as the fourth and last secret character, part of the fourth row, Leftory's Favorite Sitcom Characters!

His mechanic is simple: at some points during the night he will say a number out loud, and you have to press that number in your keyboard. If you take too long, he will create a Stewie Shield around you, which completely stops you from doing anything until you press the number and get rid of him. It should be noted that the spawn times in the showcase video are modified; he does not spawn that often in the actual game. Oh, and some of his voice lines are spoken by a Google female voice instead of him, but that's just a placeholder...

2/3: Aggressive Secret Characters

So! You know how you can toggle "Aggressive changes" for the characters in the main roster? Well, in Version 1.0.0, you will unlock the secret characters in the menu after beating the max mode! This means that you will be able to set their activity individually, and also get to see their new Aggressive changes in action!

Dog Huh is less opaque and makes more noise, GD Normal turns into GD Auto who only gives you a limited amount of time to click on it before killing you, and Monika gets help from the other characters of Doki Doki Literature Club, making it so she spawns faster and you have to delete several more files to get rid of her!

What's Stewie's Aggressive change? Well, that'll be a secret for now...

But anyway, this means that the max mode, the FINAL max mode for LCN, is all 40 characters set to Aggressive. The mode for all 40 characters normally is called Freaky Forty, but if they're all Aggressive it's renamed to Freakiest Forty. Isn't that neat...? Um, the name isn't final... it could change before release...!

And hey, speaking of release...

3/3: Leftory Custom Night 1.0.0 Release Date

LCN 1.0.0 is officially coming out on Monday, September 2nd, 2024! That's a week and a half from now!! I'll decide the specific time of release in the next Devlog, but it's definitely coming out on that day!

Leftory Custom Night will finally be complete that day. All 40 characters (plus 3 modifiers!).
