You might ask yourself why I want to talk about this, I'll tell you exactly why.

GenAI has no creativity or soul put onto it, it simply looks around the internet for art and copies it and makes it look like something entirely different from the art it copied. It is replicative. It tags past works of art and saves them for later use in generating ""art"".

So, why else is it considered an issue? The AI servers overheat to the point of imploding if they're not cooled down efficiently, and the method used is water cooling. Water cooling for each major AI servers also uses even more water than an average bottled water industry/producer and our daily water usage, combined.

The carbon emission of said water use and smoke of the AI industries reached 80 million tons, being the annual air pollution of New York City.

There are WHOLE subreddits dedicated to defending these pieces of pure batshit. Why bother, gentlemen? You frankly don't even have the courage to look at a pencil. Just try to draw something by your own hands, or don't consider becoming an artist at all. It's that simple, really.
