Ever since last month since the release of the first demo, a lot of people have been comparing it to Mario '85. And also have been complaining about some of the physics and state that the game is difficult.
My response to all of this is: The physics are unfixable because i made the platformer physics engine myself in Clickteam and Clickteam can't do slopes so what you see is what you get, basically.
Because of the unfixable physics, My team and I have decided that we are switching game engines from Clickteam to Construct 2. This decision will give us more of an advantage as Construct is easier to use than Clickteam and can do more things that Clickteam can't handle.
Also, since we're switching engines, that does mean we will have to start over because we're planning on reworking 1-1 and tweaking 1-2 a bit. (also if we have time, the boss fight would be included too).
That's all i have to say for now, so stay tuned for more updates!
