( little marvel rant )

Honestly , y'all know how people talk abt how Loki is stuck with eternal loneliness , but then they'd also say , Thor should be there with him , like brothers , and Marvel should've made it like that ? Anyways , now you know , now I'm going on a yap abt it .

I genuinely don't think Thor could be there for Loki . Sure , Loki may be called Thors favorite by the fandom , but Loki is more used to being less than Thor , he's used to Thor being a favorite . Loki would be lonely , with or without Thor , because he'd feel the need to push Thor away - especially shown in the times he is at Thor's side , it usually ends in Loki faking his death or Loki harming Thor .

Loki so clearly can't understand the trust someone can put in him , as he is , a trickster , a frost giant . You wouldn't expect anyone to build trust in you if you're literally a god of mischief , a mischief that can be harmful or passive . Loki will push away , force them to see him as some trickster , some monster , simply because someone trusting him is so absurd to him .
