you try to get out, but you can't; the springs will get loose. you're all alone LOCKED at Freddy's. all you can really do is pray to god that you'll make it alive. it's just one night. how bad could this possibly be, right? right?.....

anyway, welcome to locked at Freddy's! a fnaf 1 reimagining where you are well, locked at Freddy's! the game was made by daniel redisoft, who you might recognize for making that one fetch game a few years ago. here's his newest game. as usual, yours truly will over analyze the fuck out of it and give it a rating at the end. without a further ado, let's get locked at Freddy's....

Here's the menu of the game.

The track that plays here, "Locked at Feelings," is pretty great, and sometimes the eyes go out and come back. Nothing too special—let's start the game already.

Hitting New Game gives us the intro I already talked about, but just in case:

Elliot Woods, who has recently moved to Hurricane, Utah, looking for a job, sees an ad for Freddy's and takes it. When he gets to Freddy's, he gets knocked on the head by someone and dragged to Freddy's, where the game starts.

Before the night starts, there's this little minigame we have to do of us getting out of the springlock suit our kidnapper put us in.

It’s kinda like that one arcade game that I forgot the name of it. If you know the name, tell me in the comments.

Anyway, Elliot gets out of the suit and is obviously freaking the fuck out about what the hell is going on. A guy with purple text, who’s obviously William, starts talking with him through a cam inside the office.

William talks about the suit Elliot is wearing and how even the slightest move will mess with the springlocks and kill him.

Soon, THEY’LL become. Survive until 6 a.m., and you might get an award. Until then, let the show begin….

And just like that, the game starts. Here’s our office.

Before we talk about the animatronic active this night, let's talk about how everything works in the office.

The doors are actual doors now, and you have to hold them same with the light buttons. Because you're in a springlock suit, you have to move veeeeery slowly so that you don't accidentally trigger them or click on them. If you do, you have to play the minigame from the start to get out. The building doesn't have power, but your cams do.

For the 12 am Bonnie is active.

Being the first character means he has a pretty basic mechanic. Bonnie has a set path he goes around the building, eventually ending up at the left hall cam.

When he leaves this cam that means he's at the left door close it.

Close the door till you hear Bonnie start breathing, then you can open it. However, do NOT use the light when he's breathing wait till you hear him walk away, then use the lights. Very important stuff.

And uh, yeah, that's all for this hour. Onto the next magic hour heh, see what I did there?

William is surprised that we're handling this so well, especially compared to the last one. What was his name again? Oh yeah Mike. He's currently chilling in the backroom.

Imagine unironically doing all this just for some weird, sick pleasure. Whatever another one will soon move, we’ll talk later.

At 1 am Chica becomes active, who’s a LOT more aggressive than Bonnie.

Chica works pretty similar to bonnie going down a set path and eventually ending up at the right hall.

Unlike Bonnie she'll make a sound cue when she's at the door closing it will maker her knock on it rapidly.

You may only open the door when she stops knocking at it, but you’re still not done. Eventually, Chica will start bashing her head on the window to try to get in, and you have to use the alarm system to scare her away.

The alarm will last for about 10 seconds and is pretty loud. It also covers the whole place in red lighting, but it’s not too bad.

And that was 1 a.m. I know these first few hours are a bit basic, but trust me things are gonna get a lot more interesting further down the line.

William is very pleased with Elliot making it this far and thinks it's time to make the rules more complicated. Elliot asks him, How the fuck do the characters even move, and why are they so angry at me William answers by saying he tried really hard, Really hard, indeed. As Freddy's slowly died, all hope was lost. Everything around Will just stopped making more and more sense…

In '93, five kids went missing at Freddy's. The police did everything in their power to try to find them, but alas they were never found. The whole town fell into depression; no one knew how such a thing could ever happen. Freddy's closed its doors forever. Years later, it all just became a burning memory. Those who still remembered stayed silent.

Those kids they are still alive. They were stuffed into the suits, possessing them in the process. Being trapped in the same place, singing the same stupid songs, drove them mad. They want FREEDOM.

They want revenge….

Those souls are boiling with rage. They think YOU killed them and see Will as one of their own.

Elliot asks Will why he did the things he did, but Will just says, “We’ll talk later,” and the hour starts…..

On 2 am Foxy the pirate becomes active.

Foxys obviously in Pirates Cove which fun fact he actually has animations of coming out of his cove so that's neat.

When Foxy eventually leaves his cove, he'll make a sound cue at either the left or right side of the office. Close the door on said side to fend him off, then hold the light on him to make him get back to his cove.

That's about it for 2 am. The characters are obviously a lot faster, and the gameplay's more fun, but we still haven't reached the good stuff. Onto the next hour.

Elliot asks Will about what he meant by “nothing makes sense to me anymore,” which causes them to argue some more making Elliot wish him to burn in hell. Get it? Get it? Get it?

Will tells him to shut up because El has no idea the hell he's been through losing everything you ever loved and cared for in an instant. The idiot that caused it in the first place got what he deserved.

At 3 am the man himself, Freddy Fazbear, becomes active.

Freddy is the main guyyou’d want to use the cams for him. He'll laugh and appear in either cam 2, 4, 5, 6, or 9. If you can't find him, you'll definitely be able to hear his music playing. When you do find him, just use the alarm to scare him away. Keep in mind, you have to use the alarm in his cam.

Sometimes if you're really lucky you can get both Chica and Freddy to attack at the same time meaning you can basically kill two birds with one stone.

Will really underestimated Will, and that really annoys him. But no worries—he has a special surprise for us that'll fix everything…..

It's in the workshop, made exclusively to kill people. It's almost time for this night to end.

Now, who do you think it could be? Is it Golden Freddy? Is it Fredbear? A Funtime animatronic? Maybe an endo skelet—WRONG.

It's Chipper.

Right so uh, Mr Chip he's a pretty cool guy I suppose. I mean, definitely not the first time Chipper has been an animatronic, but still cool stuff.

Anyway, how does he wor—oh, he's a music box character.

o oh......

hey uh at least instead of having a generic ass circle his eyes light up to show how close he is to killing you that's uh pretty cool

And also, the song you play for him is an unironic banger it’s so good for literally no reason.

But, like, uh… idk, this kinda feels like missed potential. At least you do use one more cam, but still, feels like there should’ve been more.

Also, when Mr. Chip first comes into the workshop, he makes this super loud noise that genuinely scared me, so that’s something, I guess.

Anyway, uh, good design, lame mechanic, whatever. It’s time for the final hour 5 am. The story is coming to an end.

William is REAL mad at us being still alive throughout this whole night. We’ve done nothing but be an annoying ahh-diddy-blud. They argue some more until Will says they’ll meet face to face and that he’ll end this game himself.

Gulp this shit is so tuff, bruh.

Everything at first is: well, close the doors on Bonnie and Chica, use the alarm, check on Foxy, play audio for Mr. Chip… until, around 5:20, HE the yellow rabbit comes.

The Yellow Rabbit is the games final "boss" and because of that he has 2 ways of attacking.

The first one is him sending his bitchass piss colored cupcake to try to springlock you.

His second and most common one is just going to your doors use the cams to see which hall he's at and when he leaves it close the door.

now that's everyone's mechanic explained so time for the bun to share his thoughts on the gameplay and i think it's really solid and really fucking fun sure the game doesn't really have a huge big boy mechanic that makes you rethink your entire life or make use of every single cam but man it's just a super fun game through and through especially on the later nights everyone just works together so damn well there's never a single moment that feels like bullshit i could go on and on on why the games fun but you already get it overall it gets the whitebun seal of approval now let's see what happens when we beat 5 am......

Right so we get to 6 am yellow rabbit comes into our room stabs us and we fucking die!

OH......

William stuffs our corpse into mr chip talking about how he's gonna remember us for a long time before closing the door forever.

A mysterious person with white text starts talking to us being sorry for not being able to protect us begging for our forgiveness but it's already too late we're already dead....

MAN if only there was a way to get a better ending..... what do you mean there is one.

Go back to night 6 and in cam 5 click on this castle drawing.

Click on it and bam secret minigame!

You can walk with A and D, and use left click to use your sword. There’s a huge, glitchy door, which obviously needs a key to open so that’s our task for now.

You can find lil enemies around the place like these little rabbit blobs.

Going into the next room, you’ll get into a little puzzle with a guardian called Instability. The puzzle is pretty simple: count how many balloons there are and put that number into the keypad.

Putting in the code gives the key to free Freddy’s soul. On to the next room.

There are rabbit enemies now. These ones can actually attack you, but they only die in one hit.

You can also find Mangle in here which is pretty cool.

The next room is a boss fight against this big brute thing called uh well brute.

Beating him gives bonnies key which you use to free him.

Next room we got more rabbit enemies just ignore these ones.

You can also find a big furnace, which… hmmm, I wonder if that'll be important later.

In the next room, you have another boss fight with a robot called Mechanism, who can shoot rockets and lasers at you.

Killing him gives you Chicas key.

In the next room we have our last set of rabbit enemies being these batbuns.

In the last room you fight against the last and tuffest guardian the executioner.

We get the Foxy key and set the last soul free. There’s an exit at the end but it’s fake!

You have to backtrack to the furnace and make a new key using the ones you already have. Doing this gives you a glitchy key, which you can use on the door at the start. Inside the door is the Puppet’s music box.

There's one last thing we need to do HE needs to die he has to.

Time to survive 5 am one last time.

Around 5:58 the puppet comes into our office to set us free.

A fully animated cutscene starts of the Puppet setting us free from the suit.

It's time to take revenge

Meanwhile in the safe room William is having a panic attack.

He stares at some posters of fredbear's before sighing to himself.

The Puppet starts to fuck with his mind and make him hallucinate shit like the music box and golden freddy.

When he stops daydreaming he realizes he's been cornered by everyone.

So he does what he does best and laughs at them making fun of them all you already know what happens the springlocks break and he fucking dies.

And just like that the game ends....

and yeah that was locked at freddy's overall i had a blast playing this game it has a really cool premise pretty fun gameplay and a lot more i highly recommend playing this game and beating it 100% i didn't cover some stuff like secret minigames and custom night because i think the review is already as long as it is so we're just leaving it at that overall it gets a solid 8.5/10 from me see yall on the flipside!
