Hello everyone! Sorry if I've been gone for about a month or so, had some technical difficulties with my computer but now i'm back! I'm also now gonna makes these with log updates starting now with the number 1, so I bet 99% of you are wondering "WHERE'S DARKENED SPIRITS?! IS IT CANCELLED?!" and to answer that, no it's not cancelled i'm still working on it and I promised to release it on June and I failed to do that.

I know you people want this game so bad but games can take months or years to make, they don't just come out instantly. To be honest I think the Double Demo is just the Half Life 3 of the EXE community/game. Besides if I release it now then there might be bugs and glitches and even if I release it there still could be glitches. But that's where you guys come in, if there is a bug or glitch then I can fix it up and release it with a point update. Who knocks I could do bugs update to know what has been fixed.

Also expect new screenshots, music and content!

Also if you read the title then you know there's a DLC? Yeah I've been thinking about it ever sense development on the Double Demo. It would be a expansive plot and a sorta prequel to Darkened Spirits similar to Episode Shadow. I've been thinking on what this story could be. These stories include:

Story 1: Episode Metal: Metal Sonic heads to Angel Island due to a "energy source" by Eggman only to rediscover the Phantom Ruby. However Exrath (before he kidnapped Sonic and uses his appearance as a disguise) steals it back and uses it to cause a massive energy spike and send them both to a virtual reality of a post-apocalyptic Angel Island and Green Hill of a previous war. Metal Sonic fights Exrath and escapes, with this Exrath figures out he could use the Phantom Ruby as his own power. (This would be a long story, and it's inspired by Sonic Forces Overclocked)

Story 2: Episode Sonic: Sonic crashes though Eggman's base to defeat him once and for all but discovers a experimental figure (later known to be Exrath) and accidentally releases him. After being chased by it, Eggman stops it and tells Sonic to get out and never talk about it agian. Agreeing, Sonic leaves while Eggman goes to find the creature realizing it to be gone. Eggman wonders where it could have been and decides to go to Angel Island. (This would be a short story with two or so levels)

Story 3: Episode Mighty: Mighty discovers a new area called Stone Valley (like Kingdom Valley) and ventures though it. While venturing he discovers a strange ring (Which is the soul of Exrath) with this he takes it with him and discovers a strange temple and after avoiding deadly traps he finds a emerald that could grant possible timelines. (And sense I don't want to spoil something that relates to Exrath's backstory have a le skip) Suddenly the emerald and ring fuse together reviving Exrath, the temple begins to tremble as Mighty and Exrath escapes. After that Mighty runs again back home to reflect on what just happened, as for Exrath he heads to Angel Island as he feels "massive energy" in him.

So those are the stories I have for potential DLC. I will release a poll to see which story YOU want too see!

And one final thing, me and Devy (@DevyGames) have been talking about a crossover of Darkened Spirits and The Phantom’s Hallucination of Despair/Discovery. Although it's not confirmed yet, look out for a announcement if there will be a official crossover between these two series. Who knows what Exrath would do if he meet Exphantom.
