Long awaited update

Damn, been a while, huh? Sorry for the severe lack of updates on this thing, I've been hyper focusing on other projects such as Wario's.

Recently though, I've finally gotten back into coding this, and I'm happy to report that the game is like 70% done.

Almost every character has been completely coded in, minus their jumpscares. I have only one guy left to add, jumpscares, a game over, endings, etc. Then I can move onto other stuff like an extras menu and maybe a custom night.

I'm not too sure if I will add a custom night, mainly because, I have never made one before and I don't want to half ass my first, so we'll see! There will most likely be extra challenges though, so look forward to that.

There's also gonna be a fair amount of lore and backstory for each character, so you'll also have that to dig into upon release. Overall, I'm really looking forward to releasing this, I'm almost certain it's gonna be actually good this time, unlike the original, lol.

In terms of a release date, I won't be promising anything. You never know what can happen and I can't say with absolute certainty that Nintendo World will release this year.

With that said, I'd fairly confident in this coming out sometime in mid or late December.

Lastly, here's a few new screenshots to keep y'all held over in the meantime:

That's all for now, thank y'all for the patience and I'll try to get this out as soon as possible. Happy (early) Thanksgiving, cya!

(Almost forgot, MASSIVE shoutout to @worldtrademark , they've done most of the coding for the characters and they've been a massive help)

art comission.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Another house i made long time ago.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
