I feel really frustrated with my grandparents sometimes. Whenever I buy something, even if it’s small or cheap, they immediately complain. They say it’s a toy or that I’m wasting my money, even when it’s not a toy. For example, I recently bought a stylus pen for drawing, and my grandparents kept telling me it was useless and just a toy.
It’s annoying because I bought it with my own money, and I actually want to use it for something important like improving my art. I feel like they don’t understand or take me seriously. Sometimes I want to explain, but they keep complaining anyway. Other times, I just ignore them, but it still feels frustrating.
Even though I try to stay calm and not say anything rude, it’s hard when they keep repeating the same complaints. I just wish they could see that some things I buy are tools for learning or hobbies, not toys for fun
I don't play with toys a lot is childish right for my age? A big girl...
