A huge thanks to anyone who takes the time to playtest the game and give feedback. It is a massive help.
At the moment the game loads the entire map at the start so after the Unity logo you may have to wait a minute. I believe you will need 4GB of ram. There is only one police unit, it is patrolling the valley highway.
Police spawning and roadblocks are complete but not in this build as I would prefer to find and fix and problems with the current build before adding more in on top.
I’d prefer to hear your feedback and criticism first but if you are feeling generous with your time maybe you could give some of these questions a look after your own opinion?
Did the game open correctly?
Did you experience any crashes?
Approximately how long did the game take to load at the beginning?
What are your PC specs and what frame rate did you get?
Did you find the controls too responsive/not responsive enough?
How long did it take you to get used to the car?
How difficult did you find it to escape the police?
Here is a list of known bugs (Find a new one let me know!):
A direct collision with a police unit often results in crazy ragdoll physics.
Braking takes too long/not efficient enough.
Water is unfinished (It’s pink and you can drive through it).
Score timer continues on game over screen.
Police helicopter patrols and can trigger a pursuit but will not engage in pursuit itself.
Police cars wheels can clip through some roads. Police cars do not adjust angle for slopes.
Car radio keeps flashing.
Terrain is too low.
Mouse cursor is on screen.
Controls:
WDAS = Drive
SPACE = Brake
Q/E = Toggle Indicators
R = Toggle Radio
L = Toggle Lights
To playtest the game comment below and I will give you a key.
Please post feedback/criticism and suggestions after trying it out so that I can improve the game!!!
