I just got done beating Sonic Adventure DX and first thing I do is hop on the forums to see what has happened since yesterday. Turns out I wasn’t that late to the party and the guy from before this time shared the back cover of Super Sonic 7-in-1, giving us gameplay screenshots and more Sonic artwork. Sonic here looks very bizarre, he doesn’t have ears and he’s sporting Tails’ shoes but they look more socks!

Bizarre artwork aside, the two gameplay screenshots we have already tells us so much. Tails and Knuckles are infact PLAYABLE in this version of Somari/Sonic 5 and from what I can see in these low quality screenshots, they look great! From what guy has said, there are four playable characters. Who was the fourth playable character? Could it be Amy? Mecha Sonic? Or even Eggman?

He’s finally talked about the game in more detail. Turns out the Chaos Emeralds have been properly added to this game, as for the “final zone” (which I’m guessing could be Scrap Brain) but that’s not really as important. What’s important is he’s talked with Chen and turns out he put up the game itself on his website! I NEED to find this website just so I can finally play the game for myself and share it with the community. (Pfft, when I get the game? I’m just hoping I don’t actually see the Sonic monster Chen was going crazy about.)

UPDATE: Holy shit, I found it! I ACTUALLY FOUND THE GAME BEFORE ANYBODY ELSE!!! The website seems to be dead, but the game is right there and I just downloaded it! This is gonna one of the GREATEST discoveries in bootleg gaming and I literally cannot wait to try out the game! Weird thing I noticed though, it’s an .exe file. Why and HOW was it an EXE file and not a .nes file is beyond me. Ah well, I’ll try the game tomorrow 'cuz it’s getting late.
