Lost Keys – Hardest Indie Platformer?

In my opinion, Lost Keys – an homage to the classic platformer game Solomon’s Key – should have made the cut for Indie Statik’s list of hardest indie platformers. Nobody has ever beaten Lost Keys on any platform to my knowledge, not because it’s unfair but because the level puzzles get pretty hard towards the end.

The Indie Statik list includes some really great games on a range of platforms:

  • Stealth Bastard

  • Super Meat Boy

  • 1000 Spikes

  • etc., etc.

Check out Lost Keys and compare…if you dare! Available FREE for Android, iOS, Windows Phone and Windows 8.

You can also see walk-through videos on the Lost Keys YouTube playlist.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
