Lost Markiplier: Beta v.1

I finally got some game out! Now, I have been rather busy in recent times, and only recently have I gotten to continue to make the game. I made a separate game that is an early beta, just a simple idea of what the game is going to be like. It is non-related to the full game that will be done around spring 2015 or so.

Here are some features in this very early beta:

  • It has Mark and Tiny Box Tim, but Tim cannot follow Mark as I have yet to solve this issue.

  • There is a single achievement to earn, by typing in a secret command. Hint: the command needs to start with a /.

  • There isn’t a way to finish the game yet, as I was rushed from chores and wanted to get something out before I had to wait a while longer.

  • Map Grid is up, inventory, compass, etc. and a way to save your game.

I should have Beta v.2 up soon, and it will have a few areas to conquor.

Enemies can also suddenly spawn through Realm Rifts. These Rift Spawns are going to be stronger than the ones wandering around. TBD on the enemies... #screenshotsaturday #godstear #madewithunity

What you all think

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
