Hey there! Yesterday I said I was going to be revealing lots of news today, and so here is the news!
Introducing Seasons!
Seasons will be a new way of adding content to the game! Every season will be a theme and There will be an all new map to go with the season’s theme! All of the new content released over the season will be themed based off of the season. Starting with the next game update, season 1 will be starting. Season 1 is still just going to include all of the initial content that launched with the game, but next season you will be getting a new map!
New Map!
Speaking of the new map, I might as well show you guys what season 2 has in store for you!
Season 2’s theme will be forest themed! That means you will be getting an all new forest map created by @EtaLis 
at the beginning of the season, and other themed content throughout the season!
I know you are probably wanting to know what the new map is going to look like, so I have prepared a screenshot of it in it’s current state:
Keep in mind that this map is still in a pretty early state and isn’t even playable in game yet. There will be buildings and lots of trees in the final release of the map.
Season 2 will likely be coming out in the coming months.
Next Update!
Since the next update isn’t going to be season 2 or the new map, I wanted to say what the next update is going to do to the game.
Changed Main Menu design
Changed Main Menu music
Buffed AK-47
Buffed M4
Changed main map name to “Desert” and added a description for it in the map select
Fixed minor bugs
Keep in mind, unlike the last update the next update will be REQUIRED to play online with other people in a stable way, because of the map name change. If you were to play a match with a player with an other version of the game, your game will probably crash since it can’t load the old map name anymore, so be sure to update the game as soon as you can when the new update comes out (Don’t worry, i’ll post a devlog when it goes live).
