LOUDER: A Yap and Yell Game (16+)

LOUDER is going silent for awhile.

Hey hey, previously I talked about how I felt bad making this game the way it is. An update on that is we talked with Miles and they are still in approval of the way this game is going so this has given quite the confidence boost.

But for the topic of this post, LOUDER is not going to receive updates for awhile. This is due to something I noticed after a discussion with a few people, LOUDER is very inconsistent in its design.
Usually that's not a big issue, however it does take players out of the games environments just because of how differently styled areas can look. But in LOUDER's case, its so severe that it needs to be addressed, this is in part due to me still being an amateur at Blender as a whole and to the fact that all the environments change depending on what my current skill level is at.

So how are we going to fix this?

We are currently working on a style document internally to mitigate this and to fix the style of LOUDER. Once completed we will transition to actually fixing the environments, this does mean remodeling every room made but most don't need to be just due to them still being in placeholder phase.

The major ones include:
Office
Hallways
Part's and Service

Luckily they should be much quicker to make since the blueprint is already there for us to remodel it, we don't plan to change the shape or structure majorly to any area.

The characters are also planned to be remodeled (except Yap since she is our style guide for animatronics). This will be done much later however since environments are easier to start with.

Work on Louder or grind more Black Ops 7 camos

it doesn't feel real

BTW, the style guide will be public once the game releases. It would be nice to let people go through what the games style is being worked around!

somethings are best left in the dark.

While I wasn't really on 2 Reconstructed for much other than making a camera system, @AverageFranDev and @RadioOfficial were great to work/talk to during the time I was working on it. I hope everyone on the team goes on good paths in the future!

Update on everything, CD1's final documentation is nearly finished (meaning a concrete structure is in place for me to put in the game itself). Here's what is canonically Dingo the Dolls character explanation in LOUDER.
