Oh right, Hardcore Mode.

Basically imagine the same game but:

  1. No invincibility monitor.

  2. No shield monitor.

  3. No way to get an 1UP. No 1UP monitor or getting 100 or higher paperclips. Also you start with one live.

  4. No checkpoints... obviously.

  5. Now you lose all your paperclips when hit (only in Hardcore mode as now if you get hit in standard mode you lose 20 paperclips. As long you have over 20 paperclips cause if you have under 20 then you lose them all lol)

  6. You lose and you lose EVERYTHING. The chaos tubby toasts and current level. While the game has no save functionality (so you have to play it in one sitting) at least in standard mode you can start where you died with the current amount of collected chaos toasts even if you got a game over.

  7. You lose in a special stage you get an instant game over.

TLDR: this is personal and i want beef with the 'hole fandom yo 😂

Next up

I got overwhelmed today because I spent the whole afternoon doing a callout post as I got scammed after an unpaid commission fuuuuuuuck but don't worry Dipsy is still here for us. Sadly I'm just dead tired so all I wanna do is rest until I get better.

Another playtest and another day I'm proud of myself. So far there are only 8 missing levels to finish the whole game.

Something I started at March 31 but then rushed too early cause I was getting real tired, at least I like it. Just made it for shit and laughs.

Y'know with the money I was receiving from comms I would spent it on a Steam license for Fusion 2.5 so it would be cheaper to buy the useful exporters or upgrades if I weren't a fat chud spending it on food solely. If anything Regalito is the gif, not me!
