Low End PC Optimization - Space Station
Happy Monday everyone! ^_^ For the past week I have been working on optimizing the “Space Station” area of the “Moon” level and it has come along great.
I went from 7 million+ tris and 5k+ draw calls down to 912k tris MAX and 1,900+ MAX draw calls, this is a major decrease for both and I feel it will help a lot of lower end PC’s handle this area of the level better.
How did I do this? LOD’s and mesh merging, oh they are so helpful :)

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
