In this post, I'm simply going to go over all the content I have planned for the game. In case you haven't seen this game before, this is a take on Luigi's Mansion being made in GBStudio for the Gameboy Color. It will also be a top-down game.
Anyways, here are the modes!

Mansion Mode is the base game. 4 decently sized levels with 2 bosses each (and King Boo at the end for a total of 9) as you try to save Mario. The mansion will take inspiration from the GCN Luigi's Mansion while having a bit of a different layout.
You'll get gold at the end of a level based on your health - how much health you have, how much damage you took and how much you healed by saving the game with Toad.

Hidden Mansion is the games hard mode.
Simply put, everything against you gets turned up 2x and everything that aids you gets cut 0.5x.
Toads are also removed along with saving in-between levels.

You travel between a vast amount of infinite rooms - there could be ghost encounters, Toads, bonus rooms or even bosses waiting for you. The goal is to try to get as far as you can before you lose all your hearts.

I have not fully decided if I want to add this mode yet. Please do not assume it will be added.
Inspired by Super Luigi Bros. in NES Remix 2, you play as Mario who is instead trying to save Luigi. Everything is flipped horizontally (think like Mirror Mode in the Mario Kart series)

I have not fully decided if I want to add this mode yet. Please do not assume it will be added.
A simple boss rush with optional Toads for healing between bosses.
I hope you like the ideas shown here. I want to have a good bit of replayability, but I also don't want to go overboard with them. I also have never finished a single project before, so I don't want to go overboard with modes...
You get told how to play the extra modes after beating the main game, so the other modes just act as extra little challenges for people who want a bit more.
