M.a.D. Devlog #6: Secrets & M.a.D.2

Okay guys, I’ve finally gotten less busier, the event that happened is now over, and now I’m dedicating more time to this game.

Now with that out of the way I wanted to discuss some of the in-game hidden “secrets” to find. They will be hidden in all the nights except the last one. If you’ve found all the secrets in the first five nights, then you’ll get a secret ending. The secrets will make sense too. It will be kind of like FNaF 3 where you press stuff into the wall and that stuff, but way more logical and will make sense for the character you play as. I haven’t finished thinking up all the secrets yet, but I’m pretty close. So yeah I might post a basis of the so called “secrets” as a teaser image ;).

Next off, is the sequel, or prequel, of Midnight at Dexter’s. I don’t really want it to just be called “Midnight at Dexter’s 2”, since that name sounds bland and unoriginal. So I’ll come up with something more lore-based.

Lastly, I’d like to once again bring up the lore of these games. The first one probably won’t have too much lore, I’ll most likely save a large good chunk for the second game. That’s all for now.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Why walk when you can jump?

ooh yes..

Our Japanese themed game released yesterday on Gamejolt + Itch io if anyone would like to check it out! :) You play as a spirit of a japanese wolf.
