Mac version available!

Thanks to the intrepid efforts of vga256 and eri0o (from the AGS Discord), Ramp It Up is now available on Mac!

You can download it now from the main page alongside the Windows and Linux versions.

As you may or may not know, games made in Adventure Game Studio are not very Mac-friendly. In fact, AGS doesn’t actually support Mac at all. So you may experience some slight quirks with this port — such as the whole thing running in a giant window that fills your entire screen which you can’t resize (but you can put into full-full screen with CMD+Enter) — but … hey, at least you’re playing Ramp It Up on your Mac!

Also, when you launch the game for the first time, your Mac may complain that it won’t open the game due to a security risk. We assure you, the game is perfectly safe! It’s just one of Mac’s own little quirks. Go into your System Settings, click Privacy, and it should say something about how it prevented the game from starting. There should be a nifty little button that says “Run anyway.” Voila!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

A sneak peek at the new OST, can you guess what this song will be used for? 🤔
